NHS Armed Forces Health Podcast Launched.

  • NHS commissioned to produce a podcast series to raise awareness of the NHS services open to the Armed Forces Community

Commissioned by the AF PPV - Armed Forces Public Patient Voice Group, the NHS Armed Forces Health Podcast is a series that aims to raise awareness and help Service personnel, veterans, reservists and their family members to access a variety of NHS services.

Released over a six week period, each episode will look at different aspects of healthcare from leaving service to finding a GP , to mental and physical care to provision for forces families. Guest speakers are all members of the AF PPV who will share their expertise and experiences:

  • Episode 2: Wednesday 10 August - Military Medical Experience & Leaving

  • Episode 5: Wednesday 31 August – Mental Health

    With Dr Dan Barnard, Tom Fox & Jo Jukes

  • Episode 6: Wednesday 07 September – Family/Children
