The Mission Motorsport Hypercar Invitational: A Celebration of Speed, Spirit, and Recovery

The stunning Anglesey Circuit once again came alive with the sound of engines, camaraderie, and purpose as Mission Motorsport held its first Hypercar Invitational on the 25th and 26th of September 2025. This flagship event has become one of the charity’s most anticipated events and includes as a powerful blend of motorsport, recovery, and community spirit for members of the Armed Forces family.

A Unique Start at RAF Valley

This year’s event began with a special visit to RAF Valley, where invited and paying guests were treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the operating air base, including the Moran Hangar, Air Traffic Control tower and a rare chance to photograph cars alongside the iconic RAF Hawk jets.

As evening fell, guests gathered at the RAF Valley Officers’ Mess for dinner and drinks with members of the RAF Valley team. The atmosphere was warm and full of connection with a chance for guests, service personnel, and supporters of the charity to share stories, laughter, and purpose. The evening was made even more memorable with special guest Piers Beeland, an 80-year-old veteran in attendance. The night also served as an important fundraiser, with an auction helping to raise vital funds for Mission Motorsport’s ongoing recovery programmes.

Thrills and Smiles at Anglesey Circuit

The following day, the action moved to Trac Môn – Anglesey Circuit, where the real heart of the event unfolded. Beneficiaries, volunteers, and sponsors came together for a day of track-side exhilaration.

Beneficiaries were treated to passenger laps in an incredible mix of vehicles including sleek modern hypercars to finely tuned road-legal track machines. Adding to the excitement, one of Mission Motorsport’s long-standing partners, Mike Hilton, brought his Maserati’s MCXtrema, adding extra energy and attention to the day.

The smiles said it all. For many of the Armed Forces community members taking part, this was far more than just a day at the track it was a moment of confidence, connection, and sheer joy. The buzz in the paddock captured what Mission Motorsport is all about: recovery through the power of motorsport.

One attendee said, “Today has been awesome. Never did I think I would be able to go out in something as amazing as the Maserati MC Extrema – it’s the stuff of dreams and something I will never forget. Thank you to all involved”

Mission Motorsport extends heartfelt thanks to RAF Valley for all of their support and fantastic hospitality, Maserati, Mike Hilton, all the volunteers, and every driver and supporter who made this year’s event such a success. Most of all, thank you to the beneficiaries. Here’s to another unforgettable year of recovery, racing, and remembrance.
