UTAC & Mission Motorsport: A New Partnership
We’re delighted to announce that UTAC has chosen Mission Motorsport as its charity of choice for 2026.
The partnership will provide valuable support for our fundraising and recovery programmes, helping us to continue creating opportunities for veterans, service leavers, wounded personnel and their families through motorsport and the automotive industry.
We’re looking forward to working with the UTAC team over the year ahead.
TIPEC Support Banter, Brews & Cars at Three Sisters
The Mission Motorsport community came together at Three Sisters Circuit for our monthly Banter, Brews & Cars meet-up with all passenger rides provided by The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club (TIPEC).
Attendees enjoyed unlimited passenger rides in an impressive collection of 23 Porsches. We even squeezed in a lunchtime parade lap – because who could resist!
It was a brilliant day, with a great mix of familiar faces and people joining us for the first time. At the heart of Banter, Brews & Cars is something simple: creating a welcoming space where members of the Armed Forces community can meet, have fun and enjoy motorsport together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, our volunteer drivers and the Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club for helping make the day such a success.

Veterans@Heritage: Best of British Families Day
Our Best of British Families Day at Bicester Motion brought the Armed Forces community together for a day of driving, British made cars and family fun.
From children taking to the wheel of Lightning McQueen and the dual-control MX-5, to passenger laps, parade laps and some incredible static displays, there was plenty to enjoy.
Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people and enjoy a day together.
Forces Family Track Day: Croft Circuit
Croft Circuitcame alive for our Forces Family Track Day, with a full day of driving experiences, cars and activities for the Armed Forces community.
The 2.1-mile circuit saw passenger rides from the Army Motorsport Team, veteran-run STS Racing, Flying Haggis Racing, event supporters AutoRARA and more, while our MX-5 and Lightning McQueen gave younger visitors the chance to have a go at driving themselves.
Off track, the Families Village brought together almost 30 local charities, organisations and businesses, giving families the chance to discover local support, activities and opportunities.
With a packed paddock, plenty happening on and off track, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, it was a great celebration of the Armed Forces community in the North East.

FUNDRAISING
Pathfinder March Raises Over £1,200 for Mission Motorsport
A huge thank you to Annabel Gray for taking on the Pathfinder March and raising an incredible £1,215 for Mission Motorsport, more than doubling her original £500 target. With Gift Aid, this brings the total to an amazing £1,493.75.
On 6 June, Annabel joined a group of students from the Cambridge and London University Air Squadrons to take on the annual Pathfinder March, a 46-mile (74km) route around Cambridgeshire, visiting former airbases of the famous Royal Air Force Pathfinder Force, who played a vital role in Bomber Command during the Second World War.The group completed the challenge in an incredible 14 hours – a phenomenal achievement!
We’re hugely grateful to Annabel and everyone who took part for choosing to support Mission Motorsport and helping us continue our work with the Armed Forces community.
Fast Laps & Fundraising
Our Goodwood Track was invited to the hallowed grounds and birthplace of Scalextric; Margate. Hornby Hobbies opened their doors to the public and Mission Motorsport were on hand to show the public the delights of Digital Slot Car racing.
Thanks to the fabulous help of 2433 Air Cadet Squadron we were able to keep the beautiful Scalextric Super Tourer grid of cars circulating and watched the lap times tumble.
Whilst fundraising was a secondary effort to our main objective of saying thank you to Scalextric for their continued support, we managed to raise just over £500, which will be topped up with some gift aid from Havenwood Raceway.
Thanks to Paul Wooding for his sterling efforts over the course of the weekend and to Andy Graham who joined him on Sunday and brought a chum with him too. The next outing will be the October Scramble. Please contact Paul if you are able to help out on the 4th October.

Charlotte's (& Mark's) MAD 5km for Mission Motorsport
Mission Motorsport staff are preparing to don their trainers and participate in an upcoming 5KM run to raise money for the Charity.
Charlotte, Head of Community, is running the tough 5KM taking place on 22 September which includes test tracks, sand dunes, a brutal 21% incline and a muddy wading pond.
A conversation about the run has now turned into a fundraising challenge… If Charlotte can raise £5,000, Mark, Our Head of Operations and Motorsport, has pledged to dust of his trainers and take on the course as well.
It promises to be tough, but it’ll all be worth it if they can raise vital funds to support Mission Motorsport and, even better if we can get Mark to do it too!
Join Team Mission Motorsport and take on Run Fest Silverstone
Taking place on 22 November, Run Fest Silverstone is your chance to challenge yourself while helping change lives through motorsport. Whether you choose the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or one of the junior races, you'll be running at the home of British motorsport while raising vital funds for Mission Motorsport.
We ask all charity runners to commit to raising at least £250, helping us continue to support wounded, injured and sick service personnel, veterans and their families.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteer with Mission Motorsport at Bicester Scramble
Mission Motorsport is looking for volunteers to help run our popular Goodwood Slot Car Track at the next Bicester Scramble on 4 October.
Volunteer roles include marshalling cars, engaging with visitors, and helping with setup and pack-down.
In return, you'll enjoy free event entry, refreshments, and the chance to be part of a fantastic team raising funds for the Armed Forces Motorsport Charity. Accompanied children are welcome to join in too.

BuildForce National Armed Forces Insight Day

BuildForce is hosting its next National Armed Forces Insight Day with AtkinsRéalis, offering members of the Armed Forces community the chance to explore careers in construction and the built environment, meet employers from across the UK and learn about training and employment opportunities. One previous attendee said:
