IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair & Replacement
Our Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle course is designed to give the skills and knowledge to safely prepare the vehicle for work, carry out testing, and repair activities. This course compliments current industry qualifications proving you with an IMI certified qualification allowing you to safely work on high voltage vehicles upon successful completion.
ENtry Requirements
Candidates applying for this course must hold a Level 3 mechanical qualification or have relevant industry experience.

- The correct methods for shutting down and isolating high voltage systems 
- The use of approved tools and safety equipment 
- The layout and construction of hybrid and electric drive powertrain systems and the identification of key components 
- The principles of high voltage battery construction, management and monitoring systems 
- High Voltage Air Conditioning compressors 
- The design, construction and operating principles of three phase, brushless motor/generator systems 
- The control systems required for efficient operation, and methods of electrical rectification and regulation 
- Monitoring of live data using suitable diagnostic equipment 
- Working safety on hybrid/electric vehicles systems

- All booking must be paid in full prior to being booked on to a course. 
- Both ELCAS credits and Resettlement Grants can be utilised.
