Introducing Legacy Lap – Mission Motorsport goes interactive!
Legacy Lap is a powerful new way to become part of this year’s Race of Remembrance, wherever you are. By sponsoring a section of the Anglesey circuit and leaving a personal dedication, tribute or message of support, you can help transform the track from red to green while raising vital funds for Mission Motorsport. Created by veteran beneficiary Mark Bradshaw, Legacy Lap allows every supporter to leave a lasting mark on the race and help veterans rebuild confidence, purpose and belonging through the charity’s life-changing work.
Mazda and Mission Motorsport Unite Once Again
Mission Motorsport is proud to continue its valued partnership with Mazda, recently unveiling the third-generation Mazda Poppy Art Car in support of Race of Remembrance 2026. More than a striking tribute, the vehicle serves as a powerful symbol of remembrance, recovery and the enduring support shown to the Armed Forces community. The long-standing collaboration demonstrates how industry partners can make a meaningful difference, helping raise awareness of the life-changing work delivered by Mission Motorsport while honouring the service and sacrifice of those who have served.

Mission Motorsport is delighted to welcome Gama Aviation as a new corporate partner, creating exciting opportunities for veterans exploring careers beyond the Armed Forces. The partnership brings together two organisations committed to unlocking potential, supporting career development and helping veterans build successful futures in high-performance industries. By working together, Mission Motorsport and Gama Aviation will strengthen pathways into employment while showcasing the valuable skills, experience and resilience that veterans bring to the workforce

The MAD 5km for Mission Motorsport
As our 2026 charity partner, UTAC is helping us continue our work supporting the Armed Forces community through fundraising, volunteering and getting involved in our mission.
In early September, our Head of Community, Charlotte, joined the UTAC team at UTAC Millbrook for a 5K MAD run fundraiser. Together, we’ve raised an incredible £3,500 for Mission Motorsport.
Thank you to everyone who ran, donated and supported the event. We’re incredibly grateful to have UTAC alongside us and are looking forward to more opportunities together throughout the year.

Free Remembrance Weekend Rail Travel Expanded
The Government has announced that free rail travel over Remembrance Weekend will now be extended to include bereaved veteran families, ensuring more members of the Armed Forces community can attend services and events to honour those who have served and sacrificed. This welcome expansion recognises the important role that families play in remembrance and helps remove barriers to participation across the country. Eligible individuals should ensure they apply before the published deadline to take advantage of the scheme.
Connect to Work – Employment Support for the Armed Forces Community
A new government-funded employment support programme is now available across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Connect to Work, delivered by The BUSY Group UK and partners, supports veterans, reservists and partners of current or former Armed Forces personnel who are looking to find work, stay in work or progress their career.
The programme provides personalised support, including help finding suitable employment, support once in work and working with employers to put the right adjustments in place. It can also help people facing additional barriers such as disability, long-term health conditions, caring responsibilities or other complex circumstances. If you or someone you know could benefit from employment support, you can find out more by contacting: 0117 379 0490 or connecttowork-weca@thebusygroup.org.uk
