Meyrick Cox Day 2026

Mission Motorsport's fifth annual Meyrick Cox Day at Goodwood Motor Circuit brought together veterans, serving personnel, families and supporters for a fantastic day of motorsport, community and remembrance. Supported by Thakeham, the event celebrated Meyrick Cox while creating unforgettable experiences both on and off the track.

One attendee said, “We had a day far beyond our expectations - what an incredible opportunity. I cannot speak highly enough of this event and had so much fun. The highlights for me were the skidpan, a lap in the V8 Radical, and many laps in a fantastic variety of cars. My personal favourite was the Impreza." ‍‍ ‍


‍Davanti Tyres Renews Support for Race of Remembrance 2026

Mission Motorsport is delighted to announce that Davanti Tyres will continue its partnership for the 2026 Race of Remembrance, taking place on 6 - 8 November at Anglesey Circuit. Alongside a £2,500 donation, Davanti will once again supply its Protoura Race tyres to competitors, helping deliver another unforgettable event.

‍ ‍Reflecting on last year's race, one driver said: "We are still buzzing from the experience... the grip of the tyres seemed great in all conditions – we can't wait to be back on the track with Davanti this year!"


‍Kent Opens First VALOUR-Recognised Veteran Support Centre

‍Veterans in Kent will benefit from improved access to health, housing, employment and welfare support following the opening of the first VALOUR-recognised centre at Royal British Veterans Enterprises in Aylesford. The centre is part of the UK-wide £50 million VALOUR programme, designed to make it easier for veterans and their families to access joined-up support when they need it.


Herefordshire Raceway's Generous Helmet Donation Makes a Difference

‍ A huge thank you to Adam and the team at Herefordshire Raceway for their generous donation of racing helmets, which are already helping veterans and serving personnel take part safely in our motorsport programmes.

‍ ‍As a veteran himself, Adam was inspired to give back after attending our National Transition Event and following our work online. His generosity is a fantastic example of how community support helps us create more opportunities for recovery, confidence and connection through motorsport.

A Behind-the-Scenes Visit to Millington Engines

‍ ‍Members of the Mission Motorsport community enjoyed a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of Millington Engines, exploring a remarkable collection of restored engines, aviation artefacts and engineering history.

‍The group toured the workshops to discover the skill, precision and craftsmanship behind the engine-building process, before receiving a very special surprise of a fully working, taxiable Harrier Jump Jet.

‍One attendee described the visit as “a fascinating tour led by someone who is clearly passionate about anything and everything engine-based”, adding that the museum was “a hidden treasure.”

‍A fantastic day celebrating engineering, aviation history and motorsport heritage and a huge thank you to Roy who led the tour and the Millington Engines team.


‍Celebrating Our Volunteers During National Volunteer Week 2026

‍ ‍During National Volunteer Week (1–7 June 2026), we celebrated and thanked the incredible volunteers who support Mission Motorsport.

‍ ‍From helping at events and supporting our programmes to sharing their time, skills and enthusiasm, our volunteers play a vital role in helping us deliver opportunities for recovery, confidence and connection through motorsport.

‍ We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and commitment of every volunteer who gives their time to support our Armed Forces community. Thank you for being such an important part of the Mission Motorsport family.

Veterans@Heritage: A Day of Sim Racing, Community and Connection

‍Mission Motorsport welcomed members of the Armed Forces community to a fantastic Veterans@Heritage event at Bicester Motion on 16 June, bringing together serving personnel, veterans and families for a day of E-sports and connection.

‍ Hosted at the Hagerty Clubhouse, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to try a range of racing simulators, each offering a unique experience. TeamBrit brought a hand-control adapted rig, while Forrest Motorsport also provided a simulator, showcasing the accessibility and variety of virtual motorsport.

‍ The event provided a great opportunity to explore the world of sim racing, with plenty of friendly competition, conversations over coffee and the chance to enjoy the iconic Bicester Motion surroundings.

‍ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to welcoming more of our community to our next Veterans@Heritage: Best of British Families Day event in August.

‍ Club Time Attack Launches 2026 Charity Campaign

Club Time Attack has announced its 2026 fundraising campaign, continuing its commitment to supporting good causes across the motorsport community. This season, the organisation will raise funds for Mission Motorsport alongside the Isle of Sheppey Band through a series of fundraising initiatives at events throughout the championship.

The partnership will help Mission Motorsport continue supporting wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through the power of motorsport.


‍ ‍‍24 Hours, 167 Laps, One Incredible Cause! 

A massive thank you to Adam Osgood, founder and driver of Ozzy Racing, for his heroic fundraising efforts! Adam recently completed a gruelling 24-hour solo endurance race on Gran Turismo 7, tackling 167 continuous laps of the legendary Nordschleife circuit.

‍Thanks to his incredible stamina, Adam has raised nearly £500.00 for Mission Motorsport. His entire 24-hour marathon was live-streamed to supporters worldwide. Watch Adam's Endurance Race on Ozzy Racing YouTube https://youtube.com/@ozzy_racing

‍ ‍Join the Mission Motorsport Slot Car Team!

‍ Mission Motorsport is looking for volunteers to help run our popular Goodwood Slot Car Track at fundraising events throughout 2026.

Volunteer roles include marshalling cars, engaging with visitors, and helping with setup and pack-down. In return, you'll enjoy free event entry, refreshments, and the chance to be part of a fantastic team raising funds for the Armed Forces Motorsport Charity. Accompanied children are welcome to join in too.

‍Volunteer Marshals Needed for Grand Prix Centenary Event – 8 August

Brooklands Museum are looking for Mission Motorsport volunteers with experience in marshalling at events to support a unique event celebrating British motorsport history.

‍Around 25–30 volunteers are needed to help manage vehicle movements and public access between Brooklands Museum and Mercedes-Benz World. Marshals will support from approximately 8:00am–5:00pm, assisting with setup, vehicle movements, pedestrian crossing points and visitor guidance while helping maintain a safe environment in busy areas throughout the event. PTSD Resolution: Free Mental Health Support for Veterans and Families

‍Mission Motorsport is proud to help raise awareness of PTSD Resolution, a trusted provider of mental health support for veterans and their families.

For the past eight years, PTSD Resolutionhas provided support through the AIG PAX/PAL military insurance policy, helping veterans access specialist assistance when they need it most. The service is completely free, with face-to-face appointments often available within 14 days, and support remains available for life.

‍Importantly, this support is also available to dependants, ensuring that families can access the help they need too.

‍Supporting the Armed Forces Community Across the North West

‍Since 2018, Armed Forces Community HQ has grown from meeting a local need in Wigan to providing trusted support for veterans, serving personnel, reservists, families and carers across the North West.

‍Our safe, welcoming hub offers practical help, peer support and a trauma-informed approach that has helped thousands facing challenges such as poor mental health, isolation, housing difficulties and the transition to civilian life. Working with local authorities, charities and national partners, we continue to expand our services while staying true to our mission: to listen, respond and stand alongside the Armed Forces community with compassion, respect and practical support.

‍ ‍Free Dry Stone Walling Taster Day for Veterans – 7 August

‍ The Dry Stone Walling Association is offering a free one-day Dry Stone Walling Taster Session for veterans in Cumbria on 7 August. Held at the Association's National Training Site near Kendal, the fully funded session provides the chance to learn traditional dry stone walling from a Master Craftsman Instructor and explore it as a potential new career. No previous experience is needed. Eligibility: Veterans based in Cumbria.

Club Time Attack Announces 2026 Fundraising Campaign in Support of Isle of Sheppey Band and Mission Motorsport
