Mission Motorsport Easter Event at Bicester Heritage

Mission Motorsport marked Easter this year with a well-attended event at Bicester Heritage, hosted at the Hagerty Clubhouse – a great setting for a day packed with engaging activities and automotive interest.

The clubhouse featured a range of interactive experiences, including the impressive Havenwood Raceway Scalextric track, Hagerty’s race simulator, and drifting remote control cars – all accompanied by a steady supply of tea and coffee. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with plenty on offer for visitors of all ages.

Veteran Andy, now employed on-site, led a guided tour of the Heritage site, introducing guests to some of the specialist automotive businesses based there. Later in the morning, Hedley Studios opened the doors of their workshop for a behind-the-scenes look at their vehicle build process – a rare opportunity that was much appreciated.

With support from Hedley Studios, an Easter egg hunt was organised around the site. Posters hidden in various locations formed part of a code-breaking challenge, with chocolate rewards waiting at the end – a simple but enjoyable activity for families.

Mission Motorsport CEO James Cameron also brought along his 1923 Dodge Touring Car, offering rides around the site in the spring sunshine. It was a highlight for many and added a classic touch to the day. We were pleased to welcome guests from across the country, including members of the Women’s Royal Army Corps, and families from as far as Cornwall, London, and Surrey.

“It was a brilliant day – relaxed, welcoming, and full of interesting things to see and do. The tour and workshop visit were real highlights, and my kids loved the Easter egg hunt. Events like this really show the strength of the Mission Motorsport community.”
Sarah M., attendee and military spouse

As April is the Month of the Military Child, we took time to recognise and celebrate the resilience and strength of the children in our military community who joined us. Rounding off the afternoon, staff from Hedley Studios offered passenger rides in their Ferraris – an experience that left a lasting impression.

Thanks to all who attended and contributed to making the day enjoyable and inclusive. We look forward to seeing you at future events.
