Race of Remembrance 2026 Race Team Entries Open!
Preparations are already underway for Race of Remembrance 2026, with official race team entries now open ahead of this year’s event on 6–8 November at Trac-Mon Anglesey Circuit.
The much-loved 12-hour endurance race continues to bring together veterans, service personnel, and the motorsport community in a unique event centred on remembrance, camaraderie, and recovery through sport.

Mission Motorsport Members Experience the 2026 Fun Cup Opener
Four members of Mission Motorsport were given the opportunity to attend the opening round of the 2026 Fun Cup alongside George Grant and the team at Clapham North Racing at Oulton Park.The day provided an exciting behind-the-scenes insight into race weekend operations, giving members the chance to experience the atmosphere, teamwork, and professionalism involved in endurance motorsport at a competitive level.

Championing the Armed Forces Community in Industry
It’s been a fantastic month for Mission Community, delivering two major conferences focused on championing the Armed Forces community within UK industry, MACH2026 and the Commercial Vehicle Show.
From covenant signings and industry advocacy to hundreds of meaningful conversations with employers, ministers, and industry leaders, the week highlighted the growing impact of collaboration across the sector.At the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC it was great to reconnect with our friends at The Veterans' Foundationwhilst continuing to promote opportunities for the Armed Forces community through the Veterans Industry Engagement Programme.
A huge thank you to the Manufacturing Technologies Association, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, andNineteen Group for their support. “Collaboration is at the heart of what we do - creating opportunities, connections, and lasting impact for veterans and service leavers.”
MACH 2026 is on a mission… Over £6,000 was raised for Mission Motorsport at the MACH Dinner, as the industry came together for an evening of celebration, laughter, and purpose at the MACH Exhibition Annual Dinner. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the evening such a success
Veterans@Heritage: Easter Event
The Veterans@Heritage Easter Event delivered a fantastic day of connection, fun, and community for the Armed Forces family, hosted at the brilliant Hagerty Clubhouse.
Families enjoyed an Easter egg hunt alongside a site tour of Bicester Motion with veteran Andy, as well as a behind-the-scenes visit to the Hedley Studios factory. The day was packed with activities for all ages, from Scalextric racing with Havenwood Raceway and model building with Models for Heroes, to the Hagerty race simulator, drifting and 4x4 remote-control cars.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and to all the partners and supporters who made the day possible.
Our next Veterans@Heritage is E-sport themed on Tuesday 16th June.

Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Supports Mission Motorsport
The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Oxfordshire Region has confirmed its chosen charities for 2026/27, with members unanimously selecting Mission Motorsport and StarterMotor at the recent AGM.
A programme of fundraising events will be held over the coming year to support both organisations further. Members can be confident that all donations will be directed towards meaningful and impactful work. Thank you for your support.
Mission Motorsport is registered with easyfundraising, which means you can support us for FREE every time you shop online.
Over 8,000 retailers will donate to Mission Motorsport at no extra cost to you. Simply sign up, shop as normal, and remember to use easyfundraising. Disabled Veterans' Scholarships Fund
Last year, The Open University supported around 28,000 disabled students. Since the Disabled Veterans’ Scholarships Fund was established, more than 350 additional disabled students have been able to access higher education. Applications for this year’s scholarship are now open - applications close at midday on 15 July 2026.
JLR Webinar for Service Leavers & Veterans
Calling all Service Leavers, veterans and Reservists with a technical or engineering background.
Jaguar Land Rover is hosting a webinar for military candidates interested in Maintenance Technician opportunities at its Solihull and Wolverhampton manufacturing plants. The session will include insights from the recruitment team, along with veterans currently working in these roles.
Date/Time: 12 May 2026, 1200 - 1300 hrs
Please note that applicants for Maintenance Technician roles must hold a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Maintenance.
BuildForce hold their next National Armed Forces Insight Day - 11th June
Hosted by Morgan Sindall Group on Thurs 11th June at the Royal National Hotel, London, the event provides a platform for their military community to engage with industry employers to explore the construction sector and the wider built environment further, discuss transferable skills and UK-wide opportunities.
“An extremely enjoyable day and packed with fascinating insights into the construction sector. I really appreciated the opportunity to engage with so many knowledgeable professionals.”
Please note the employers all have a national presence they are looking to recruit nationally, this is not a London only event.
Lambing Days at Oppo’s Working Care Farm - 17th & 18th May
Experience countryside life at Oppo's Working Care Farm. The last of the special Lambing Days is on 17th and 18th May you will meet rare Bronze Age sheep whose bloodline has remained unchanged for thousands of years. If you can’t make the lambing days there are farm tours and animal care workshops to enjoy for the rest of the year, suitable for all ages.
Oppo’s Working Care Farm is a social enterprise run by volunteers who are veterans of the HM Forces and the Emergency Services, dedicated to supporting others through farming, education and wellbeing.
