  • Preparations already well underway for Race of Remembrance 2026 with official entries to open on Friday 1st May

  • Hugely popular annual Mission Motorsport event, showcasing the best of camaraderie and community spirit, to take place on 6-8th November 2026

  • Spiritual home, North Wales’ Trac-Mon Anglesey Circuit, to again host RoR

Race of Remembrance 2026, one of the true highlights of the annual UK motor racing season, will once again take place at Trac-Mon Anglesey Circuit this November as military veterans, service leavers and motorsport professionals join together to mark Remembrance Weekend with Mission Motorsport with official entries to open on Friday 1st May.

The Race of Remembrance is the Forces’ Motorsport Charity’s flagship event every year – an endurance motor race, contested across 12 hours, which famously pauses on Remembrance Sunday morning for all involved to reflect on the service given, and sacrifice made, in conflicts past and present around the world.

This November’s event marks the 12th staging of RoR and with Mission Motorsport’s preparations well underway, the organisers are determined to make this year’s race in North Wales the best yet. That will be no mean feat, after an exceptional race in 2025.

Last year victory was taken by the Rob Boston Racing squad, with its Lotus Elise S1 raced by Lee Brooks, Ben Brooks and Phil Grayson seeing off the challenge of 49 other teams over the course of the 12 hours.

Mission Motorsport’s huge impact, since the charity was inaugurated in 2012, cannot be underestimated, providing vital support for the rehabilitation and recovery of military service personnel through involvement within the motor racing and automotive industries.

Over time the charity has helped over 1,000 injured or sick members of the Armed Forces into supported employment, more than 2,000 military veterans into employment through industry partnerships, and north of 3,500 members of the Armed Forces have community engaged through recovery sport.

Indeed, at the Mission Motorsport National Transition Event (NTE) at Silverstone Circuit and Conference Centre in March, almost 2,300 members of the Armed Forces community and their families gathered to discover more about the opportunities for the transition to civilian life.

Mission Motorsport is The Forces’ Motorsport Charity, supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals impacted by military service. It promotes both physical and mental wellbeing by creating opportunities within motorsport and the automotive industry as individuals navigate life beyond service.

Named Event of the Year’ in 2024 by Motorsport UK, the governing body for four-wheeled motorsport in Britain, Race of Remembrance welcomes a wide range of road-car based race cars with street-legal tyres and as stipulated by the regulations must be no more than 250bhp per tonne.

Alex Atherton, MD Mission Motorsport, said:
“This will be my first Race of Remembrance, and I am deeply honoured to have the opportunity to be part of such an incredible event. As we prepare to open race entries on 1 May 26, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the outstanding Mission Motorsport team, our friends at BRSCC, and all of our partners, volunteers and competitors. Their support, dedication, and commitment are what make this event possible, and I look forward to seeing everyone at Anglesey for what promises to be a truly special occasion.”

Luke Souch, Head of Club Operations, BRSCC, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be working alongside Mission Motorsport once again to deliver the 2026 Race of Remembrance. This event holds a unique place in the UK motorsport calendar, and it is a privilege for the BRSCC to support such a meaningful occasion that brings the motorsport community together to honour and remember those who have served.”
