Race of Remembrance, one of the absolute highlights of the UK motorsport calendar, is expecting another very strong grid for this November’s 12-hour race at Anglesey Circuit in North Wales – and if you want to join the action, there’s still time to enter!
Taking place over the weekend 8th/9th November at the picturesque North Wales venue, the Mission Motorsport-organised race returns for its 11th such event this year where fantastic endurance action meets key fundraising and awareness for the Forces’ Motorsport Charity.
Mission Motorsport, of course, exists to support military personnel, veterans and the entire Armed Forces’ family. Race of Remembrance at Anglesey is the flagship event through which the charity does such incredible work for ex-forces personnel who are sick, injured or who require help adapting back into everyday life from a career in the military.
The 12-hour endurance race at Anglesey run in conjunction with the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), RoR – named Event of the Year by Motorsport UK in 2024 – is still welcoming entries for this year’s encounter which is contested by road-car based racers no more than 250bhp per tonne and run on street-legal tyres.
Ahead of the event and included in this year’s entry fee, we are also offering competitors the chance to join our special Launch Day on Friday, 3rd October
Taking place, as ever, at BARC’s ultra-fast Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire, the spectacular day acts as the official launch pad for RoR by bringing together serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans and supporters to enjoy a range of high-octane activities.

Open to seasoned campaigners of the Race of Remembrance as well as those new to Mission Motorsport’s activities, the upcoming day at Thruxton will feature:
A morning session of team testing and driver development
An afternoon of providing high speed passenger laps in race and performance cars around the UK’s fastest race track
Car control – learn skills and techniques in a controlled environment on Thruxton’s skidpan
·Test reflexes and precision behind the wheel in timed Autotest sessions
Added to the wealth of on-track activities, Launch Day will be attended by companies and key partners who will sign the Armed Forces Covenant and pledge support to the Armed Forces community.
