Race of Remembrance Goes Online for 2025

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of endurance racing as the Virtual Race of Remembrance returns on the 4th and 5th of October 2025. Hosted on Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC), this 24-hour race at the iconic Paul Ricard circuit brings together GT3 and GT4 cars in a thrilling multiclass battle—all in support of Mission Motorsport and our vital work with veterans and service personnel.

Whether you're a seasoned sim racer or new to the scene, this event is open to teams and individuals alike. If you're not part of a team, don't worry—our Team Finder channel in the official Discord will help you connect with others.

Key Dates

  • Qualifying: Wednesday, 1st October 2025

  • Grid Reveal: Friday, 3rd October at Thruxton

  • Race Start: Saturday, 4th October at 11:05 BST (preceded by a 2-minute silence)

  • Race End: Sunday, 5th October

Race Format

  • Track: Paul Ricard

  • Cars: GT3 & GT4 multiclass

  • Duration: 24 Hours

  • Custom BOP: Provided by PitSkill

  • Team Size: 3–6 drivers

  • Entry Confirmation: Via donation (details in Discord)

  • No mods required

GT4 sign-ups will open before GT3, and all entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 60 GT3 and 20 GT4 team slots available. Your entry is only confirmed once your donation has been received and verified by the admin team.

Game & Server Info

  • Standard ACC driver swap system will be used.

  • Only two drivers per team may be on the server at any time.

  • No server restarts will be permitted—teams must ensure correct joining procedures.

Liveries

All teams must submit custom liveries using the provided template. Liveries must include:

  • The Mission Motorsport logo

  • The Positive Perception logo

  • The word “REMEMBER” on the rear wing

Please ensure liveries are submitted before the deadline and contain no explicit content.

Stewarding & Rules

The race will be live stewarded by the Positive Perception admin team, supported by volunteers from Mission Motorsport and other communities. A protest form will be available throughout the race, and replay files will be shared hourly in Discord. Stewards’ decisions are final.

Key racing rules include:

  • Aggressive driving, especially on lap one, will be penalised.

  • Blue flag: slower cars should remain predictable; faster cars must overtake safely.

  • Yellow flag: overtaking is prohibited until past the incident; Full Course Yellow (FCY) may be called if needed.

    Qualifying

    All team members may attempt to set lap times. The fastest overall lap will determine grid position. Any team attempting to manipulate grid placement (e.g., “Last to First” challenges) will be penalised.
