Mission Motorsport’s powerful and poignant Race of Remembrance returns to Trac Mon, Anglesey on 8–9 November 2025 for its 11th year.

This unique 12-hour endurance race pauses on Remembrance Sunday for a live-streamed service honouring the Armed Forces. Part of a wider national programme, including karting events, 24 hour sim-racing and community fundraisers, Race of Remembrance blends racing with remembrance, raising funds to support veterans and their families.

Entries are now open for RoR Anglesey, and businesses are encouraged to get involved through sponsorship.

Meyrick Cox Day at Goodwood Motor Circuit

The Meyrick Cox Day at Goodwood Motor Circuit was a powerful celebration of resilience, hosted by Mission Motorsport and supported by Thakeham. Bringing together veterans, supporters, and charities, the event offered a space for connection and recovery through sport, camaraderie, and shared experience. From high-speed laps and pedal car records to a Bell H-13 Sioux helicopter landing, the day was packed with action.

With support from amazing organisations like Blesma, Fighting With Pride, The Bike Experience, veteran Dougie inspiring many with his “Keg of Demons” mental health campaign and more, the event truly embodied the spirit of community and healing.

Getting Mission Motorsport back on track!

Following the rather unexpected racing line taken in our flagship Subaru at the Hagerty Hill Climb the car is a little worse for wear. We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people reaching out, eager to help us get back on track. Quite literally!

To support the repairs and help us deliver our packed summer schedule of events, we still have a way to go to raise the funds we need. If you would like to make a donation please visit our JustGiving page here. Thank you to all who have donated so far.

4x4 Skills Day: From Thruxton to Salisbury Plain

The Mission Motorsport crew recently headed to our Southern HQ at Thruxton for a 4x4 driving experience. The day began with a theory session covering the dos and don’ts of off-road driving –and topics such as how to minimise impact on the local environment and drive responsibly. With the basics covered, we put theory into practice on the Thruxton 4x4 circuit before heading on to Salisbury Plain for more challenging terrain. A great day was had by all.

This is an event we’ll be running again. Interested in taking part next time? Let us know!

Thank You to Mark Layton and RWE!

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Mark Layton for his fantastic fundraising efforts in support of Mission Motorsport. Mark bravely took part in our annual “Biathlon of Foolishness” — a part-run, part-swim challenge held at Race of Remembrance 2024 — all while dressed up as a unicorn for the occasion! Thanks to RWE’s generous £4£ matching scheme, which matches staff fundraising up to £500, Mark’s efforts were doubled. We’re incredibly grateful for both his commitment and RWE’s support in helping make a meaningful impact. Well done, Mark!

£2,500 Raised at ModelWorld with the Goodwood Scalextric!

We’re thrilled to share that £2,500 was raised for Mission Motorsport at ModelWorld at the Birmingham NEC, thanks to the incredible efforts of long-time friend, supporter, and fundraiser Paul Wooding. Paul brought along the much-loved Mission Motorsport Goodwood Scalextric set – a detailed scale replica of the iconic Goodwood circuit – which quickly became a crowd favourite. Visitors were invited to set their fastest laps, with Scalextric sets up for grabs for the quickest drivers each day. We’re still looking for volunteers to support the Scalextric stand at upcoming events!
