LATEST NEWS

As we celebrate 14 years of service, we’re marking the start of a new era for Mission Motorsport. After fourteen consecutive years of growth, our Founder, James Cameron, is stepping down as CEO. Following a well-earned sabbatical, he will continue to champion our work as Founder & Advocate, supporting both Mission Motorsport and Mission Community.

We’re delighted to welcome Alex Atherton as our new Managing Director. A former Lt Col with 20 years’ service in the Army and experience in the commercial sector, Alex will lead the next phase of our mission to support the Armed Forces community.
Our focus remains unchanged: serving those who have served.

Sniff and Smith Raise £10,000 for Mission Motorsport

Smith and Sniff hosted a live podcast recording at the Great British Car Journey on 5th March, and thanks to ticket sales and a silent auction, an incredible £10,000 was raised for Mission Motorsport.

As always, there were plenty of laughs with the classic Smith and Sniff antics, making it an evening full of fun and generosity.

Funds like these allow Mission Motorsport to continue delivering recovery through motorsport and creating opportunities within the automotive industry making a real difference to the lives of those in the Armed Forces community.

We’re incredibly grateful to Smith and Sniff and their audience for their continued support and fundraising efforts.

A Day On Track With Our Armed Forces Community

The Armed Forces community took to the track at Three Sisters Circuit for an unforgettable Banter, Brews & Cars event.

With unlimited passenger laps on offer, attendees hopped in and out of cars on the most glorious day. Off the circuit, our split-control Lightning McQueen brought plenty of laughs as attendees got to grips with this truly one-of-a-kind car.

One attendee shared: “Attending the Banter, Brews & Cars event with Mission Motorsport was something I didn’t realise I needed until I was there. The unlimited passenger laps were an incredible adrenaline rush - completely different from my day-to-day life. For a few hours, I could switch off, laugh, and just be in the moment. It did wonders for my mental health. I left feeling lighter, more positive, and genuinely grateful for the experience.”

Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and everyone at Three Sisters Circuit - your continued support makes all the difference

Driven Beyond the Track: Supporting Veterans ‍

Christopher Hurst, a former British Army serviceman, is taking on a fundraising challenge this September driving a Formula 1 race transporter from Monza, Italy to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain in support of Mission Motorsport and Combat Stress.

After 11 years of service, Hurst was diagnosed with PTSD in 2016. With support from Mission Motorsport, he found renewed focus and purpose - now inspiring him to give back.

All funds raised will be split between the two charities, helping support veterans facing mental health challenges.
